This song describes the work of Skennerahowi. He was ‘The Peacemaker’ who persuaded the Five Nations of the Haudenausonee (Iroquois) to end their battles and live together in peace. He was eventually successful which resulted with the Kayanesha ‘Kowah. the Great Law of Peace, in the first federation of nations with a constitution in North America.
